Building LA – Nominees are those who are working on the betterment of the Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Area through the creation of jobs, the support of local social justice movements, and working on the image of our community to the outside world.
Creative Geniuses – Nominees for this category are those who embody the idea of creativity and contribute to the artistic beauty of the Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Area. Creativity comes in many forms and this category is fairly flexible.
Economic Development – Nominees in this category are those who have contributed significantly to bringing new business ideas, development, and people to the region. This can be attained through new business, the creation of leadership organizations, marketing projects attracting groups to the Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Area.
Education – Nominees in this category are individuals in the field of education who have significantly contributed to their students or organization in some way. Education is not limited to the public and private school systems but can encompass educational programs developed within an organization, and training programs administered in other organizations.
Emerging Leaders – Nominees in this category are actively involved in multiple organizations, boards, or volunteer programs in the community where they are visibly present and making a significant contribution toward the betterment of the Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Area.
Entrepreneurs – Nominees for this category are praised for actively selecting the Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Area as the central location for their business or for revitalizing a portion of the community that has long since been forgotten.
Health and Wellness – Nominees for this category are professionals working to advance the health and wellness of the local community and its inhabitants. Health and wellness can take a variety of forms including traditional healthcare fields, fitness or weight management trainers, alternative medical practices, and coordinators of health and wellness programs.
Local Government and Civic Leaders – Nominees for this category are members of local municipalities or organizations who exhibit extraordinary leadership in the local community, serving on boards or work groups and who go above and beyond the normal call of duty to support the betterment of our community.
Local Heroes – Nominees for this category are members of the community who serve as social, moral, or ethical advocates promoting social betterment, economic development, and an overall higher quality of life.
Volunteers – Nominees for this category are community members who serve in a volunteer capacity for local organizations promoting advocacy, awareness, and social responsibility.
