Bronwyn Knight

Bronwyn opened The Lunch Table a year and a half ago and has been a one man (or in her case one lady) show since the beginning. After graduating high school she took her passion and culinary experience to manage Panera Bread. However, once becoming a mom and realizing her worth she decided she had all she needed to manage a restaurant of her own! With her baby strapped to her back she got to work, cleaning and prepping the restaurant, cooking and preparing all of the made-to-order meals, and cashing out each customer all on her own. She is an inspiration to many.

When the tragic events took place last October she opened shop and made food to supply to first responders to show her support and appreciation. When the storm hit just days before Christmas shutting down power causing her to lose thousands of dollars of inventory and destroying her home she never quit. She has had challenge after challenge and probably not a smooth profitable year but her passion and resilience keeps her going.

She is a shining light of hope, one that our community needs to keep lit. As a member of Lewiston on one of her biggest fans thank you Bronwyn for all you do. You deserve a break and this recognition for the stand out person you are. We see you!
