In the three years since opening her shop, Jenna has created far more than a coffee spot — she’s built a warm, welcoming community hub in Lewiston where everyone feels at home. Jenna’s drinks are creative, thoughtful, and delicious — from her house made syrups (the brown sugar cinnamon is incredible) to her unique collaborations like the tiramisu latte made in partnership with Mancini’s Italian Deli. But what really makes Blue Jay Coffee special is the way Jenna pairs a quality product with a caring environment. She makes sure there’s always cold water and snacks available for anyone who might need it, and she never turns away anyone who just needs a quiet place to sit, work, or recharge. Blue Jay Coffee has become a gathering place for the community.

Personal Passions

Jenna hosts events ranging from book clubs to maker markets, giving people opportunities to connect and belong. She highlights local artists and makers in her shop – StickerCon was a particular favorite this year, highlighting local artists and promoting other stores in the downtown. She collaborates constantly with other small businesses — not as competitors, but as partners. Half her Facebook page is celebrating the successes of others locally and love that! Her partnerships, shoutouts, and promotions of others show how deeply she wants the whole community to thrive. Jenna runs her business with authenticity and generosity, creating a space that feels like home and proving how much hospitality can mean to a community.

don’t know her well personally, am just a loyal customer, but even as a fairly distant onlooker, see firsthand the impact she makes — not only by serving an excellent product, but by building something that supports and uplifts everyone around her. She really is the Best in Hospitality! Jenna is one of the biggest driving forces of connection in the Lewiston-Auburn area. She helps homeless people the in the area get their needs met, host events with fellow businesses, is always looking out for other people and cares to cultivate a space where everyone feels welcome and genuinely helps people. She has been the best boss have ever had, Jenna truly understands what it is to be compassionate, and she embodies it every single day.
