Stephanie played a key role in launching the Local Foods Action Plan website, creating an interactive platform to connect residents with the region’s food resources. Her innovative approach, grounded in equity and sustainability, has strengthened the food landscape while fostering meaningful community connections.

Stephanie’s passion for food extends beyond her professional work. She thrives on living close to the land, embracing a rural lifestyle that has taught her skills such as building gardens, heating with wood, and cultivating self-reliance. In her free time, she enjoys tending her own garden, cooking, fermenting, and preserving herbs and flowers from her harvest. She also values outdoor activities like swimming, hiking, and skiing, and prioritizes moments of stillness and reflection, which nurture her creativity and connection to nature.
