Ben Fournier is a compassionate, innovative leader in senior living and memory care, guiding Schooner Memory Care through significant challenges since 2020 while supporting more than 250 residents and over 1,500 families. His advocacy for senior services—highlighted by his involvement with the Maine Health Care Association and a meeting with Governor Janet Mills—underscores his commitment to elevating care statewide. Known for his collaborative leadership, mentorship, and resident-centered approach, Ben has earned the trust of staff, families, and the broader community.
Personally driven by service and meaningful connection, Ben finds fulfillment in small acts of compassion that ease transitions and uplift others. His commitment to community dates back to his college years at the University of Maine, where he co-founded Dance Marathon to support the Children’s Miracle Network. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife and daughters, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and staying involved in local causes and UMaine athletics.
Ben’s love for Androscoggin County shines through his participation in local events, support for area businesses, and engagement in arts, music, and volunteer activities.
