Ben Fournier has distinguished himself as a compassionate and innovative leader in senior living and memory care. Since beginning his career in 2020, he has guided Schooner Memory Care through unprecedented challenges, ensuring a supportive environment for over 250 residents and meaningful connections with more than 1,500 families. His leadership extends beyond day-to-day care; Ben advocates statewide for senior services, including a meeting with Governor Janet Mills on behalf of The Maine Health Care Association. Known for his mentorship, problem-solving, and resident-centered approach, he fosters a collaborative environment that strengthens both staff and community trust, setting a high standard for excellence in healthcare.

Personal Passions

Beyond his professional achievements, Ben is deeply motivated by creating lasting impact and connecting with others. He takes pride in small, compassionate actions that improve quality of life, whether helping a family navigate a difficult transition or providing guidance to community members. His legacy of service traces back to his time at the University of Maine, where he co-founded Dance Marathon, raising funds and awareness for the Children’s Miracle Network. Outside of work, Ben cherishes family time with his wife and daughters, enjoys travel, outdoor activities like biking and lakeside adventures, and stays engaged with local causes and UMaine athletics, blending community involvement with personal fulfillment.
