Nominator’s Comments:
“I nominate Christine because of her quiet, yet passionate dedication to our community. In the past year she relocated her business and more than doubled her staff, providing more jobs. She provides a warm and friendly work environment and a beautiful establishment for her clientele. Giving back to the community is very important to her. Every time she is approached to donate something for a fundraiser, she doesn’t hesitate to give. TBB is involved with The Women’s Literary Union’s Prom Gown Giveaway by collecting and donating prom dresses, along with gifting a Prom Queen beauty package to a lucky prom goer. She also works with Safe Voices and donated a makeover package to 15 women to help them feel more confident about themselves. TBB also does a giving tree every December, where we collect new toys and clothing and donate to The Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers. She also has partnered with Sasha Lee’s Boutique in Lewiston for the past three years with a shared vision of spreading self-love and body positivity. TBB donated their time and services to provide all the “looks” for the male and female models in the sold-out Lingerie Fashion Shows. Although she does so much, she does it quietly…never looking to be recognized. TBB truly is a salon with a “heart”…and that heart is Christine.”
