Jamie Szal

Jamie is an accomplished state and local tax attorney to clients across the world. Jamie left her career as a litigation and appellate lawyer for the Massachusetts Department of Revenue to practice private-sector state and local tax law. Since joining Brann & Isaacson, Jamie has appeared before state courts, federal courts, and administrative bodies across the country. She is a tremendously effective and tenacious advocate for her clients. Jamie is creative and effective in helping them solve their tax problems in a cost-efficient way.

In addition to her demanding legal practice, Jamie serves on the Board of Trustees at Trinity College, her alma mater; is the current President of Community Dental of Maine; and, is a member of the Board of Directors of MothersEsquire, Inc. Jamie earned her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, and then earned an LL.M. in Taxation and Certificate in State and Local Taxation, both with distinction, from Georgetown University Law Center. She lives in Auburn with her husband Tim and their growing family. They enjoy singing in their church choir and hiking.
