Professional Impact
From a young age, Ms. Paxton knew her calling was to help children reach their fullest potential. Inspired by a high school career project, she set her sights on attending the University of New England to become an Occupational Therapist—and she followed that dream all the way through. Today, she serves the Lewiston/Auburn community as a dedicated pediatric occupational therapist, providing compassionate, specialized care that supports not only children but their families as well. Her work is grounded in empathy and expertise, and she is particularly proud of her additional training in treating pediatric feeding and pelvic conditions. Her professionalism, patience, and genuine care make her a trusted and beloved figure among her clients and colleagues alike.
Personal Passions
Beyond her professional life, Ms. Paxton treasures her most meaningful role—being a mom. She considers motherhood her greatest joy and the title she holds most dear. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, baking, and relaxing in her hammock. Whether she’s boating on Range Pond, exploring new ice cream spots, or soaking up time by the ocean, she finds fulfillment in simple moments that bring connection and peace. Her balance of nurturing both her career and personal life reflects the same warmth and attentiveness she brings to her work with children.
Love for Androscoggin
For Ms. Paxton, Androscoggin County is home to some of her favorite traditions and community treasures. She loves visiting The LogYard Dairy Bar for weekly ice cream outings, enjoying the family-friendly fun and treats at Wallingford’s, and spending sunny days on Range Pond. Annual events like the Great Falls Balloon Festival hold a special place in her heart as cherished family traditions. And when it’s time for a date night or dinner out, Davinci’s is her go-to spot for great food and atmosphere. To her, Androscoggin represents everything that makes Maine living special—community, family, and a sense of belonging.
