“Rebecca Levesque deserves to be honored for her commitment to education at Lewiston Regional Technical Center – Culinary Arts Program (The Green Ladle). She is extremely passionate about sharing her wealth of knowledge and experiences with her students. Mrs. Levesque has a special way of inspiring her students to discover their special talents and personal drive within the culinary/ hospitality industry. She puts in extra hours during the week and sometimes weekends to encourage and guide her students to gain work-life experiences through catered events and special projects.
Mrs. Levesque is an Advisor for Skills USA, which is a partnership of students, teachers and industry workers coming together to ensure we have a skilled workforce in the community. She is extremely supportive of community involvement events such as the Dempsey Challenge (helping prepare breads, pastries and breakfast for over 3,000 guests), Chili Chowder Challenge (preparing over 800 pastries) which helped support special events with Longley School and other non-profit organizations.
