Through hard work and determination, she advanced from mortgage clerk to processor and now leads the department as Assistant Vice President. In every role, Shantel has given her all, committing 100% each day to ensure members receive exceptional service and a clear understanding of the mortgage process from start to finish. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Shantel is equally dedicated to her community.

Love for Androscoggin

A proud mom of twin toddlers, she still finds time to volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association of Maine, where she helps organize the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s. She also serves on the Maine Credit Union League’s Emerging Leaders Committee, where she shares her expertise and passion for strengthening the credit union movement. Shantel’s leadership, compassion, and commitment, both to her members and her community, make her an outstanding candidate for this award.
