“Shelley is a local hero because she works tirelessly in dynamic ways to improve the quality of life for the people and the health of the environment in the twin cities and beyond. As ED of the Androscoggin Land Trust, she works long hours with a wide variety of community partners, volunteers, and landowners to steward, protect, and conserve over 5000 acres of the important natural areas, traditional landscapes, and outdoor experiences in the Androscoggin River watershed. Shelley lives in New Auburn and in her free time, when not on the trails with her puppy, she also serves part time as a fitness instructor for Cardio Sport in Auburn.”
