Nominator’s Comments:
“Jessica has been promoted through the Hilton Garden Inn multiple times over the last 4 years and has most recently accepted the position of General Manager. During her 4 month tenure, she has created an environment of collaboration and empowerment. Jessica’s presences is always noticed, whether she is cleaning rooms, bussing tables, checking in guests or just being an ear for the employees to talk with. Prior to her role as the General Manager, she was the Director of Sales for the Hilton Garden Inn where she was an integral part of the Chamber of Commerce and has been a part of the Chamber Tourism Committee and the Mayor’s Economic Development and Marketing Committee since their inceptions. She has also been a member of the Central Maine Medical Center Associate Volunteers since 2016. Jessica also realizes how important tourism is to the State of Maine as a whole and frequently attends tourism and leadership conference for state initiatives including the Governor’s Conference on Tourism and Inn Keeper’s Association. Being born and raised in Lewiston/Auburn, Jessica is dedicated to the growth and development of tourism of the area, she is a dedicated employee and an empowering manager any young woman would look up to as a professional role model.”
