Jacob Crothers

Nominator’s Comments:
“Dr. Jacob “Gus” Crothers is a family medicine physician with a speciality in addiction medicine. Dr. Crothers was an instrumental influence in Grand Rounds’ decision to open their East Coast patient care operations center in Lewiston, Maine. As the Medical Director – Clinical Staff, he leads a team of 50 physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and RNs in delivering personalized medical care as well as providing thought leadership for how to transform the healthcare industry. Specifically, how we can use the combination of people and technology so that every patient feels like they have “a doctor in the family”, ensuring they receive the right care, at the right time, by the right doctors. In addition to his full-time work at Grand Rounds, Dr. Crothers is a board member for the Maine College of Health Professions and practices part-time at the Community Substance Abuse Centers in Portland.”
