Adam Lee

2017 Nominee

Local Government & Civic Leaders

Attorney

Trafton, Matzen, Belleau & Frenette, LLP

Nominator’s Comments:
“I have only recently gotten to know Adam, but I really like what I have seen. Adam is an attorney at Trafton, Matzen, Belleau & Frenette, LLP, focused on municipal affairs, among other things.  For lack of better phrasing, Adam is “crazy smart” when it comes to municipal development; not just in his work at the law firm, but also during his tenure on the Auburn City Council from 2013-2015.  He is currently seeking reelection to that seat in a mid-term election, and I am hopeful that he will be successful.

Adam has been a Big Brothers/Big Sisters mentor since 2009; his “little brother” was nine when they met and is now in high school. He has been a been a member of the Board of Directors of the Lewiston Education Fund, has coached debate at Edward Little High School, has been a P.A.L. umpire, has volunteered at the Lewiston/Auburn YMCA, and continues to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Lewiston Auburn Economic Growth Council.  He is deeply interested in the growth potential of Lewiston/Auburn and providing a sense of place for those who live here.

Adam and his wife, Heidi, have a goal to run a 5K in all 50 states before they reach the age of 50.  In support of this goal, Adam stepped up to serve as the Director of the Lewiston/Auburn Triple Crown 5K series in 2014.

Adam’s sense of humor is second to none and I often feel smarter just being in his presence.  At the same time, he is both kind and thoughtful, and considerate of the needs of everyone in our community.”
