Nominator’s Comments:
“Brian started NuImage Awnings of Maine from the ground up in 2005. He started with installing small local residential shading solutions in the Lewiston-Auburn area and has grown his business to a multimillion dollar enterprise. He has worked very hard over the years to obtain the knowledge necessary to grown his business into a well known name in the Lewiston-Auburn area. In 2011 he expanded his business to include commercial shading solutions. Some of the projects locally that his company is responsible for are: Outdoor railings at Marche and Fuel. The new awnings over Festival Plaza, Covered walkway at St. Mary’s , Canopy entrance at The Public Theater, Covered entrance at the Firehouse Grill, covered entrance -Bates College Squash Center, CMMC Urgent Care handicapped entrance canopy, Good Shepard Food bank entrance canopy, Rainbow Federal Credit Union entrance walkways, Maine Oxy entrance canopy and the list goes on and on. A few years ago he expanded his business to include Marine Upholstery and opened an upholstery shop on Millett Drive in Auburn. I personally met Brian when he was still in high school and he assisted in the customer service department at Futureguard Building Products. Over the years he has grown into an impressive business man who enjoys working with people in his local community. NuImage Awnings of Maine is a member of the Chamber of Commerce.”
