“Isaiah is a self-taught blacksmith who has had to overcome many obstacles to turn his craft from a hobby into a business. Rather than graduating high school and leaving the state like many of our youth do, Isaiah graduated from ELHS and the LRTC program 2 years ago and stayed in Lewiston Auburn trying to build his business. He interns at the Maine school of metal works in Auburn and he recently opened his own blacksmith shop in Lisbon, and works hard every day to have a successful and sustainable business in Lewiston Auburn. In addition to being an amazing young entrepreneur his craftsmanship as a blacksmith is outstanding.
