Katie Lemieux

Katie has been a staple in the community for all of her life in the food industry sharing her love of food with a smile. Katie started her work locally at her aunt’s catering business where she learned different styles of cooking and making food on a large scale. Katie moved over to St. Mary’s where she was the supervisor of food services for four years which led to her leadership skills to communicate with her team. Katie wanted to dabble in something new which interested her to join Pinky D’s team working on the food truck. Katie learned from Randy over the next four years which led to her promotion as the Manager of the Pinky D’s in Auburn attached to Side by Each. Katie was always helping with a smile on her face and coming up with a new creation not on the menu once a week for a special. She still holds this position while starting her own journey of opening her own food truck called LA Tacos. Katie spends her time when not at either business, she is connecting with local nonprofit businesses to provide food leftover from events to the organizations that she supports. Katie is not just a helping face at Pinky D’s or LA Tacos but also in her community to support the fight on ending hunger in our community. Katie is also supporting organizations like the Dempsey Challenge by offering 10% back of all sales from LA Tacos for the month of August! It is nice to see a person living and working in this community that cares to help organizations and herself through networking to expand her own business.
