Megan Guynes

Nominator’s Comments:
“Megan is a silent leader of the L/A community that typically goes unspoken about. Daily Megan serves as a mentor and role model to hundreds of youth through her role at Tree Street Youth center as a program director and beyond. Megan created and leads a powerful behavior intervention program in partnership with Longley Schools called “Longley Leaders” focused on utilizing restorative practices and engaging youth who are struggling in school to build their leadership skills. Beyond this Megan is active in the community little theater participating annually in their productions as well as being a leader of the praise and worship team/choir at Christ Temple Church in Auburn. She is the founder of the Gospelaires gospel singers group at Bates College which she created during her time there. Since graduating in 2013 Megan has called Lewiston home and leaves her mark on anyone she meets.”
