“Safiya is a rising star in Lewiston. Between balancing work at L.L. Bean and her coursework as a student at the University of Southern Maine, Safiya also makes time to enhance her community through her leadership of the Lewiston Democrats and as a Library Board Trustee. At her young age, having grown up in Lewiston and already investing in its future, it is clear that Safiya will continue to be an Emerging Leader for years to come.”
