Andrea Wessling

Nominator’s Comments:
“Andrea has worked for the Credit Union for a couple years and in October 2017 we celebrated our Ending Hunger efforts by having 100% of our staff volunteer in local hunger organizations in the month of October. Andrea volunteered at the Turner Food Pantry in Turner, Maine helping unload food at the pantry and also helping members of the community load up their items and place them in their vehicles. I’m proud to say that Andrea made a commitment to continue volunteering even after the October initiative ended and still puts in a few hours per month assisting the volunteers at the food pantry and the local residents using the services. Maine Credit Union’s Campaign for Ending Hunger was a cause that resonated with Andrea and she built relationships with the volunteers at the Turner Pantry that has developed into an on-going volunteer commitment. Andrea also participates in several other Community Credit Union events and projects to support our local community. I think she is deserving of a Community Volunteer honor.”
