Nominator’s Comments:
“Angelica continues to be a rising star in the Lewiston Auburn community. Beginning her journey as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care office amidst the start of the Covid19 pandemic, she faced the challenge head on and used her position to promote continued health and wellness. She viewed her position as a positive and respected role model and utilized this in an effort to educate her patients every step of the way with new research, staying as up to date as able with the ever changing scientific findings. Her continued hard work ethic, unquenchable desire to seek out evidence based practice and literature to support patient treatment and her passion to put forth the extra effort to provide this information to her patients and allow them to play an active part and make informed healthcare clinical decisions sets her worlds apart from her colleagues. I wholeheartedly submit her for nomination for the Finest Under 40, as a loving husband and appreciative community member seeing first hand the extraordinary effort she puts forth daily to serve her community. In addition to her PCP role she is an active member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society as well as served the following organizations Kappa Zeta at Large Chapter (2017), Theta at Large Chapter (2018), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (2019), American Nurses Association (2019), Graduate Nursing School Academy (2019).” – R.
